How this service works

This website is a referral service. We connect you with an independent, locally owned mobile mechanic. We do not perform repairs ourselves. The mechanic you speak with sets prices and is responsible for the work.

Ocala Mobile Mechanics is a free referral service. Repairs are performed by independent, Florida-registered mobile mechanics, not by this website.

How we're paid

You never pay us. Mechanics who receive referrals from this site may pay us a flat monthly fee or a per-lead fee. That doesn't change the price you're quoted — the mechanic sets their own prices.

Florida registration

In Florida, businesses that repair motor vehicles for pay must register with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) under the Florida Motor Vehicle Repair Act. We check a mechanic's registration before referring calls to them. You can also look up any repair shop yourself on the FDACS website or ask the mechanic for their registration number. Under Florida law you can ask for a written estimate before work begins.

Phone calls and recording

Calls to our number are forwarded to a partner mechanic and may be recorded for quality and lead tracking. You'll hear a notice at the start of the call. Florida requires everyone on a call to consent to recording.

Privacy

When you send the form, we collect your name, phone number, vehicle, problem description, town and ZIP code. We use it only to connect you with a mobile mechanic about your request. Your information is shared with the mechanic who handles your request and with us. We don't sell it. By checking the consent box you agree to be contacted by phone or text about your request. To have your information deleted, contact us.

The form is processed by a third-party form service, and this site may use basic, privacy-friendly analytics to count visits.

No guarantees from this website

Because we don't perform repairs, any warranty or guarantee on parts and labor comes from the mechanic who does the work. Ask them about it before you approve the job.
